Post 2 – 4.5 hours per week term time only. 11:45-13:15 – Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Job Description:

To work under direction of the Senior Midday Supervisor during the midday break.
To escort the children to and from the dining area as required. To supervise the children waiting to enter the dining area and record the names of children having a school meal.
To assist with the service of the meal. To assist younger children to carry and cut up their food, to mop up any spillage which may occur during the meal. To supervise children eating hot meals provided by school as well as packed lunches.
To supervise the removal of food and equipment from the tables, ensuring they are clean for each group of children. To clean tables and clear the floor at the end of the midday break.
To supervise play areas, corridors, toilets, classrooms, etc. as required. To contribute to the maintenance of appropriate standards of behaviour in school. Any serious incidents to be reported to the Headteacher or responsible Deputy.
To administer simple first aid as required. Accidents to be recorded in the Accident book and reported to the School Office or Senior Leadership Team.
To follow all required protocols and risk assessments as requested by the Headteacher
To attend meetings as requested.
