Please note: The government did not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
School Advisor
The school receives a termly monitoring visit from an independent advisor appointed by the Trust.
Their last visit was in February 2024. The Advisor in her report stated:
‘Pupils report that they enjoy writing, especially when it is linked to the class novel.
They enjoy opportunities to talk about their writing, both as part of the process of composition and sharing their pieces when completed.
All pupils reported that their writing had improved in this academic year and could give examples. Evidence considered during the visit shows that progress has and is being made by the school in improving pupils’ writing. Much positive progress has been made in a term. Evaluation of the quality and standard of pupils’ writing across all key stages There is strong evidence of improvements in pupils’ handwriting, presentation and the quality and quantity of writing. Pupils’ writing showed vocabulary development and evidence was seen the progression in grammar knowledge and application.’
